Many states, municipalities and public institutions – such as state universities and non-profit hospitals – have followed the U.S. government’s lead in establishing workplace campaigns.
Our sister federation, Partners for a Better World, enters many of these other public-sector fund drives, and members of our federation are invited to affiliate with Partners for this purpose.
Though these campaigns are much smaller than the CFC, they offer significant financial support. Most operate very much like the CFC. Each has its own application, its own eligibility standards, and its own schedule. Most state and municipal campaigns require that participating groups be registered with the relevant state – and this registration often involves a fee.
